Three deaths in Kerala for COVID-19

Kerala reported 292 new COVID-19 cases and three deaths due to the disease in the last 24 hours, according to data published on the Union Health Ministry website on Wednesday.

Of the 341 COVID cases reported in the country till 8 am today, 292 are from Kerala, taking the number of active cases in the state to 2,041, according to the information website. With the three deaths reported in the state, the number of deaths due to COVID in Kerala since it started three years ago has reached 72,056.
The number of people who have been cured, discharged or moved in the last 24 hours after the diagnosis of the disease is 224. Therefore, the number of judges in this department has increased to 68,37,203 as of today.


On Tuesday, the State Health Minister Veena George has said that despite the rise of COVID in Kerala, there is no need to worry as the state is well prepared to treat the virus.

The minister also said that instructions have been issued to provide special facilities to the COVID patients and ensure that there are isolation wards, rooms, oxygen beds, ICU beds and ventilation in the hospital.
