Bloomberg quoted Yonhap News Agency on June 24th as saying that some South Korean airlines have suspended some flights to China. Yonhap News Agency believes that this is bad news for China-South Korea relations.
According to the report, Yonhap News Agency quoted sources as saying that Korean Air will suspend the Gimpo-Beijing flight from August 1 to October 28, and will suspend the Gimpo-Xiamen flight from August 9 to October 28.
The report also said that Asiana Airlines, another South Korean airline, will suspend the Gimpo-Beijing flight from July 6, and suspend the Incheon-Shenzhen flight from July 8. The flight from Incheon to Xi’an has been suspended since June 20th. Asiana Airlines will resume all suspended flights on October 28.
